Rector Prof. Zbigniew Gaciong met with Minister Jan Grabec - Member of the Council of Ministers, Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The topic of the conversation, which took place on Thursday, March 14, 2024, was the challenges of operating medical universities, with particular attention to the problems of child and adolescent psychiatry.
The Rector outlined the university's plans for training medical staff and improving developmental psychiatry.
The Minister J. Grabiec noted that child psychiatry and providing the best possible care for the youngest patients is a priority for the government. The Minister thanked the Rector for the MUW's efforts so far and declared that the university has his support in this regard.
